Reinventing the Brooch

I love old things.  They feel so familiar to me.  I have always loved brooches and they are very plentiful at thrift stores.  It seems like most women have forgotten about wearing a brooch.  I feel a brooch comeback just like fresh flowers in your hair.

Here are some ways I like to incorporate brooches into my wardrobe.

No more dragging Maxis!!  Just gather up the skirt lined up over your knee.  I like to pull it up right above the knee.

Adding a brooch to your purse is an easy way to show off your brooch.

Use your brooch to change the look of your beads.

Put a brooch on your summer hat.  I also like to use a men's tie pin.
