Making a Comeback yet again. The Romper.

I have always loved the look of the romper or some people call it a playsuit.  It is so vintage and classy to me.  The only problem that I seem to have is finding the right fit.  I'm not the only one.  The waistline is either to high which gives you the early pregnancy belly or the shorts are just too short.  I don't want my rear end hanging out - so not attractive!

It reminds you of time when ladies looked like ladies!  When pearls, heels, rollers & aprons were still an everyday thing.  Playsuits also remind me of icons like Marilyn Monroe.  What a beauty she was!

Here are some looks that I am loving.  Some of these looks don't link back to their source now due to being sold out.  But we can use this to know what we do love and then try to recreate it at home.  I am going to try to duplicate the look with the perfect fit.  I hope that I can do it.  I also thought about finding separates and then just sewing them together to make a romper.

  1. Cute! I don't think I could pull it off, being so short and all, it might be really hard to find the right fit. Would look lovely on someone long and lean like you. :)

    1. That's funny because I was thinking that you could pull it off better than me since you are more petite.
