I am a Southern peach married with 3 little girls living the dream in the Colorado mountains. I really enjoy things that may pertain to family, love, living, food, kids, fashion, crafts, travel, reflection, an interesting find or thought. I love bluebirds and pie and believe in happily ever afters. I started this blog a little over two years ago to have one central spot to share all the interesting, eye-catching, heart felt, delicious and noteworthy things that cross my path.  It is also an incredible outlet for me as well as an open journal for the world.

It began at first when I started sewing and selling handbags which then included a blog page on my Marmie Bags store website.  I then realized how much I enjoyed writing and blogging. After shutting down my shop after my third child, I continued blogging while centering my attention to my family.   I have had many wonderful jobs throughout my life including being a florist, a nanny, a server, a microbiologist assistant, a book keeper, a lab technician and owner of Ginger Magnolia Catering & Marmie Lingerie.

I am passionate about being fit and healthy eating. I love eating and living the heathy lifestyle and sharing my tips and recipes to all of you.

And now I am focusing my creative energy into A Marmie Life Blog. I am passionate about sharing life’s lessons and in the words of Maya Angelou, “When you get - give. When you learn - teach."

Currently, I am raising a family and enjoying an outdoor life.  You can find me working part time for my family business www.telluridewoodfloors.com or helping out with other friend's businesses.
